2 years old?!?! Really?!?

I guess it is starting to register to me that my baby boy is fixing to be 2 years old!! I can't believe this but it is sure happening. It has caused me to remember what all Hannah was doing at this age.....which is kind of silly. Each child is different and will do things on their own time. All this to say, I have decided to see how interested Isaac might be in doing "big boy" things. No, I'm not going to even begin potty training until his actual birthday (although he has gone in the big potty - only once though) but I wanted to see about some smaller things like eating at the table instead of in a high chair and taking a nap on just the mattress instead of in the crib. Well, the nap thing didn't quite work today. Every time I would close the door and give him another minute he found a new toy to play with or box to climb in. Guess we will try again tomorrow.....or the next day. Anyway, I asked Hannah last night if she would like for her & Isaac to sit at their little table for dinner. She was so excited! She took their plates and set the table for them. Isaac shocked me! He stayed in his chair and ate better than he had in a month! It was too cute. I had to capture this memory and share.....

Of course Ms. Hannah had to pose for the camera...I wonder how she got so pretty?

Isaac has begun saying "Cheese!" when the camera comes out.

Isaac & Hannah sharing dinner at their table.

Just enjoying dinner & each others company.

I am so blessed to have the opportunity to stay home with my sweet kids....I just can't thank God enough for allowing me to be able to be home. I sure don't want to rush this time in Isaac's life but he is growing up so fast....right before my eyes! I think sometimes, because I am with him all of the time, I don't recognize the new things he does. Thank you God for my husband & kids!!!

King For A Day

I just love these pictures and had to write about them. I was in the kitchen doing something and had to grab something from the table. When I glanced in the living room there was Isaac....standing in front of the tv watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (only his most favorite thing EVER) with this inflatable Chuck E Cheese birthday crown. I literally laughed out loud and grabbed the camera.

He even kept the crown on after he realized what I was doing. He is my sweet little monkeyhead. I just love him so much.

When Brian put him to bed this night he sat up, grabbed the crown, put it on his head & laid back down. I hate that I failed to get a picture of it. I am so glad I get to see these things and be home with my kids. God is sure blessing me.
