Addison Road

This past weekend I attended The Girl Within Conference at our church. Vicki Courtney was the speaker and Addison Road led worship. Hannah wanted to come with me so badly but she just wasn't quite old enough. However, Addison Road put on a concert on Saturday night and I took her with me to that. She was so excited. My friends, Jasmin McBride & Trisha Smith, brought their daughters with them to the concert as well. The girls had so much fun! Below are a few snapshots I got of the fun! :-)

Here we have Hannah, Cambreigh and Jaycee waiting for the concert to start.

Me and my sweet girl....love her so much!

The girls got to go stand by the stage when the concert began....Jaycee was making sure someone was watching her. Ha!

Hannah, listening intently to what Jenny was saying.

Here is Jenny (lead singer of Addison Road) with Hannah.
I had such a good time sharing this with Hannah. I pray we have many more moments like this to share.

1st Grade!!

1st Grade!! It's finally here! :-) Hannah was so excited she woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't go back to sleep! She did finally go back to sleep and I woke her up bright and early at 6:30. I have been thinking about the difference in dropping her off this morning and dropping her off last year for Kindergarten. It wasn't near as hard this year....although I had to make myself walk out of the class. :-)
Here is our picture of Hannah last year starting Kindergarten....

...and here is my big 1st grader! I can hardly believe the difference. She look so much older to me.

Just a close-up for mom.

We heard that the school traffic going to East Pointe is horrible so we decided to park at my friend Tonya's house and walk to school. Ugh!!! It was so hot and humid that I thought I was going to die! But Hannah & Emily had a good time walking to school together.

Here is a picture of Hannah and her teacher, Mrs. Leslie Watts. We already love her!!!

We had a little drama this morning.....I got the outfit out that Hannah had picked to wear on her first day of school and saw the security tag had not been removed when we bought it! Hannah was very sad and decided she just couldn't wear a different dress or skirt so she picked out her new jean shorts & her new pink shirt. I think she looked beautiful.....regardless of the outfit! I took the dress this morning and had the tag removed so Hannah is all ready for Monday!
I am so excited to see what is in store for my sweet Hannah and her 1st grade year. I just know it's gonna be a good one!

Last Day of Summer Vacation

Today is the last day of Summer Vacation for my Hannah-bell. I find it to be bittersweet. She is growing up way too fast for me.....complete with attitude! I am having such a hard time believing my baby girl is beginning 1st grade tomorrow. Wow...I can't even imagine all the things (both good and bad!) she will learn this year. Isaac is going to be lost without his "Nannah" to follow around and pester! Ha!
Hannah has one of her best little friends over today.....Emily Alford. Emily's mom, Tonya, teaches 3 year old Preschool at our church and her classes began today so Emily came to hang with us. They are having a great time....they have played Barbies, made candy necklaces and now they are bowling on the Wii for Isaac. They are such sweet girls.

Here is a picture of the big girls with our big boy! Seriously he is going to be so sad without Hannah here all day.

Not only are we sending our big 1st grader off to school tomorrow, we have a big boy working very hard on learning to use the potty.....everytime! Ha! He wanted to show off his Mickey Mouse "wonderwear". Isn't it too cute!!! It seems like yesterday it was Hannah running around in her tiny little panties. Time flies way too fast!

Lots of changes are happening....I'm praying God's blessings on a new school year!

Chaos in Conway!

I decided it had been too long since I had seen my sister so I packed the kids up Sunday after church and headed to Conway. I love spending time with my sister. I am just beyond proud of the life she has created for herself and her three boys. I honestly look up to her. She is just amazing. We didn't really do a whole lot....just ate some yummy Mexican food and had a delicious frappe' from McDonalds. The rest of the time we played Nerts and the kids played together. We had a wonderful time....below are just some pictures of our time there.
Brady (with his eyes closed), Isaac (devasted because I made him leave the Wii game to take a picture, sigh), Blake, Bryant & Hannah
Hannah & Brady doing Zumba with Aunt Bekah (she wouldn't let me post the picture of her - boo!)

See the smile on Hannah's face? Wish I felt happy when working out!

Here is my future Razorback!!!

Blake & Isaac watchin' some Wipeout!

I thank God for the relationship I have with my sister...she is truly my best friend.
