Field Trip to Wild Things Farm

Hannah's kindergarten class went on a field trip to Wild Things Farm in Pocola, Oklahoma yesterday. I didn't have a babysitter for Isaac so I wasn't able to go with her. Instead Brian went with her. She was very excited to have daddy there with her. From what I hear she had a great time. My friend Monica took pictures for me since I wasn't able to be there. Thanks Monica!

Hannah and Brian petting a horse.

They went on a hayride...which I hear was very fun!

Daddy & Hannah on the hay ride.

Hannah and Kaylee
I'm glad she had such a good time and that she got to spend this time with her daddy. They have such a close relationship. It makes me very proud. It means so much to be married to a man that wants nothing more than to be a part of his kids lives. Thank you God for my husband!

Songwriter in the making?!?

Hannah came out of her room a couple of days ago to share with me the song she had written....now, let me share it with you! =)

"God is a boy because he is ours.
He is a good boy.
Some boys are mean but God is a nice boy.
Because He died for us and he created us because He loves us."

Not sure if I need to prepare myself for a future in songwriting.....but she sang it from the heart!

Teacher Appreciation Gift

Hannah has a friend that she met the very first day of school named Kaylee Dolan. When the girls introduced themselves to each other, Kaylee's mom and I introduced ourselves. Her name is Monica Dolan. We have developed a great friendship thru the school year....just like Hannah and Kaylee. She is an awesome lady! One day while the kids were playing we began discussing Teacher Appreciation Day and wondering what we were going to do for Ms. Morgan. After some brainstorming, we decided to do a canvas sign for Ms. Morgan....she didn't have one hanging by her classroom. The following pictures are what we ended up with. I was very proud of our work....and might I say, it looks great by her classroom door! =D

Lost a Tooth!

Hannah lost tooth #3!! She has already lost her 2 bottom teeth. I don't think I put the pictures on my blog so the picture on top is her 1st lost tooth. No picture of tooth #2. The picture on bottom is her 3rd lost tooth. She is
cute with her missing tooth! She is so excited she is going to get "big teeth" in this spot! It doesn't matter to her that she will look goofy til she grows in to them. Ha!

He Cracks Me Up!

Oh this little boys makes me laugh!! I was in the kitchen doing dishes and thought he had become rather quiet. I walked in to find him watching TV with his hard hat on! This same day he wore the hard hat all day....including when we went to pick up Hannah from school. He is so stinkin' cute!

Love love love this boy!

Isaac Turns 2!!!!

I just can't believe my Isaac is 2 years old. It seems like just yesterday that I held him for the very first time.....looking down in his sweet face and amazed that, just like Hannah, he was so alert! I also remember feeling the excitement of Hannah coming in to meet him for the first time. She truly fell in love that day....and has loved him ever since. We all fell in love that day. I have to admit I was a little nervous about having a little boy but my goodness I just love him so much!
We started out his birthday with donuts from Julz Bakery....yummo! He liked that a lot. Then we all loaded in the car and went to Fantastic Sams for a birthday haircut! He has been getting haircuts since before he was a year old.....I wonder if he will ever not be terrified?? When we arrived home, daddy & I decided he needed his birthday present from us. His party was later that day but we felt it just wrong to make him wait all day! =D So we gave him his basketball goal. He was so excited.....he literally jumped up and down saying "yes! yes! yes!". Cracked me up!
Below is a picture of how the table looked for his party:

Here is his first shot with his basketball....I couldn't get him to stand still to take the picture. Ha!
My big sweet birthday boy!!!

He is going to be a star!!

Another action shot......

I didn't take any pictures during the birthday party (I was busy trying to keep everything flowing smoothly!) but we cooked out hot dogs, baked beans, potato salad & chips. Then had cake and ice cream. Poppy tooks lots of pics but I just haven't made it over there with my flashdrive to get them loaded. I hope to get tha done soon so I can update with pictures of him blowing candles out and opening his presents.
My sweet Isaac, I love you so much! I can't wait to see the awesome man you will become....I just know God has big plans for you!

Attempt at cake decorating

I decided this year that I wanted to try to make Isaac's birthday cake. He loves to play with any kind of ball so we decided to have a "ball" party. In my head I am thinking surely it will be easy enough to decorate. NOT! We are having family over but that is a pretty large group so I thought we would need a bigger cake than just the football....how about I make a basketball too? =D The basketball was harder to decorate!! It doesn't look good at all but my little Isaac was so excited when I showed them to him. I just love my little boy....so glad simple things please him!
Below is the results. (Had to put the football in the one of the basketball because I had to take the focus off of the AWFUL basketball! =))

I am pretty proud of the football. It almost looks just like the
picture!

Now, cakes are decorated. All things are bought for cookout....can't wait to wake up and wish my little man "HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY BABY!". Time flies too fast.......
